The Climate Project
| The Climate Project, (TCP) is a nonprofit social enterprise with its global headquarters based in Nashville, TN, began operations in June 2006 with the mission of increasing public awareness of the climate crisis at a grassroots level around the world. | |
| Since 2006 a diverse group of over 2,000 presenters have been trained by Al Gore himself to present a version of the slide show featured in the Academy Award-winning film An Inconvenient Truth. As of October 2008, they had delivered nearly 25,000 presentations and reached a combined audience of 4 million people. | |
| The Climate Project has established an official presence in the United States, Canada, Australia, India, Great Britain, Mexico, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Indonesia and Singapore. | |
| The Climate Project's is also expanding its mission to incorporate a greater emphasis on "solutions" through partnerships with the public and private sector. |
